Glitche project. Moscow, 2019
The project's main idea consists in the contrast between the digital/science-based/web culture and the crochet technique, which is handmade and gives off a warm, cozy feeling. Bright, saturated colors, 3D and photo-filters-inspired effects, polarized images, images seemingly taken directly from phone screens, all create frustrating art objects, which seem to have a practical purpose, but turn out to be just art objects.
