“Warmth": a joint project of Yandex Food and artist Katika

Moscow, April 2025 - Yandex Food together with artist Katika present the project “Warmth” - a statement about care, respect for manual labor and human participation in digital processes.

At the center of the project are three thermal bags in red, green and blue colors with images of hands made in pixel stylization.

These colors correspond to the RGB model (Red, Green, Blue) underlying the screen image and emphasize the technological nature of the environment in which the interaction takes place.

The pixelated images of hands symbolize the gesture of transmission, a simple but meaningful movement that encapsulates the attention, warmth and connection between courier and recipient.

The artist's project explores how the physical and the digital intersect in everyday life, and reminds us: even in the most automated processes, human beings are what matters.

“It was important for me to show that behind every digital process is a human being: with his labor and attention. This project is about warmth, which can be transmitted even through a screen and arrive in a thermal bag. I wanted to visually connect the world of technology and manual labor to remind: caring is always something very personal,” says Katika.

With a “Warmth” bag behind her back, Katika became a courier for a day.

This gesture became part of the project: an attempt to experience in person what it means to carry care through the city.

“People looked at my backpack, someone held their gaze, someone smiled.I was on my way to order and I felt like I was carrying something more,” notes Katika.

For Katika, couriers are the real heroes of the metropolis.
People who in any weather, despite fatigue or traffic jams, continue to deliver not only food, but also attention.

The “Warmth” project makes their labor visible, brings attention back to human participation in the usual digital processes.
